Product Photography Prompts & Real Examples
Find the shot before you start.
Compare six generated product shots for different jobs: a clear catalog image, a campaign mood, an everyday setting, or a close detail. Open one to see how the image was described and how to adapt the direction to your product.
All six pictured examples were generated from text and reviewed. The upload-and-restage instructions are adapted starting points, not the instructions that produced those pictures.

Choose the next outcome—not every tool
This page helps you choose a visual direction. Your product photo may need isolation first, but white, product canvas, focused replacement, and creative restaging are alternatives—not a seven-step checklist.
If you already know the exact output you need, skip these examples and open that branch directly.

Source product photo
Keep the original available so labels, shape, reflections, and framing can be checked against every result.
Need the subject separated first?
Use Background Remover, inspect the cutout, and keep a reusable transparent master before choosing a finished outcome.
Choose the result you actually need
Finish from the result you chose
Inspect against the source, download the result, continue editing when needed, or reopen account-owned work in Creations.

Exploring a new shot
Generate from text when you need a new concept. Use Image to Image to test a different set, light, and crop around a source product photo. Choose Photo Editor when the original shot is already close and the requested change is narrower.
Review the actual product
A generated or restaged result may change label text, capacity markings, logos, reflective edges, or product geometry. Compare it with the original before commercial use; none of these paths guarantees an exact SKU image.
Product prompt questions
Can I change the prompt before creating?
Yes. The starter arrives as editable text. Replace the product in brackets, then adjust the materials, palette, setting, or lighting before you create.
Which tool should I use for my own product image?
Use Image to Image for a broader creative restaging. Use AI Photo Editor when the photo is already close and you only want a focused background change.
Will every word on my packaging stay the same?
Not reliably. Small packaging text, capacity markings, logos, reflections, and fine edges can change. Always compare a result with the original before commercial use.
